Hard Bid Procurement Strategy

Wolf Construction & Development is very experienced in hard bid procurement delivery.  In this process, WCD is provided with bid documents that include plans and materials specifications developed by the Architect.  WCD would then price the project off of the provided documents.  The hard bid method is the most conventional way to procure a contractor.  One challenge with this delivery type however,  is that the drawings may be incomplete or lacking proper coordination between the various trade disciplines (Plumbing, Electrical, etc.).  In that case there could be a potential for change orders in the future due to discrepancies that would have been potentially caught during a negotiated procurement strategy.
